Legendary director K Viswanath Passes Away

Veteran actor and director K Vishwanath passed away.  He was 92. He is well-known for his roles in the movies Swarna Kamalam, Sagara Sangamam, Swathi Muthyam, and Sankarabharanam. He received five national awards. K Vishwanath died at his residence in Hyderabad due to age-related illness.

Early on Friday morning, legendary actor and filmmaker Kasinadhuni Viswanath passed away. He was receiving treatment at a private hospital for an age-related ailment. He passed away on Friday as a result of a sudden drop in his pulse. The highest honour in Indian cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Prize, was given to director Vishwanath, making him the 48th laureate.

In the film industries of Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil, K Viswanath has made significant contributions. He had helmed more than 50 movies. He has won 10 Filmfare awards, seven Nandi awards, and five national film awards. With his wife and three kids, K Vishwanath resided. On the untimely passing of the iconic director and actor, condolences came in from the industry and prominent figures.
