Marvel announces Stan Lee’s documentary on his 100th birthday
On Wednesday, Marvel Entertainment tweeted a 25-second video announcing the arrival of a Disney+ Stan Lee documentary in 2023.
The news falls on the 100th birthday of the late comic book creator.
“100 years of dreaming. 100 years of creating. 100 years of Stan Lee,” Marvel Entertainment wrote in a caption that accompanied the teaser.
“Stan Lee, an Original documentary, is streaming 2023 on @DisneyPlus.”

A slow zoom-out that exposes an image of the multi-talented inventor completes the joyous sequence.
Lee maintained his connection to Marvel even after leaving the corporation in the 1990s through cameo roles and executive producer responsibilities on Marvel productions.
The most well-known characters Lee is credited with creating are Spider-Man, the Hulk, Iron Man, the X-Men, and others. He collaborated with other writer-artists including Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko on these works. Lee maintained his connection to Marvel even after leaving the corporation in the 1990s through cameo roles and executive producer responsibilities on Marvel productions.
